Ha, surprised to see that this blog is still active until like 6 months ago. Wow! Blog members exploded to like 31 of us! A lot of new members.. though i dun think i know most of ya. Haha.. (Anyway, I was quite amazed I could actually manage to log in here.lol)

Must say something, time really flies.. lol. After my 2 yrs stint at NS, I shld be going back again in Mar!~ Yozhoo~ Good thing about this blog is that we can always keep updated about whos going back when.

's been a long time since we had any post with substantial content...wahahhaha ok...new year greetings don't count lah...but I still love you (those who posted greetings) ok...

there're lotsa changes in SM right now..alot of reshuffling of posts and everything and I am not even sure who's what now.. because I *clears throat* am not a kpo person...whahahaahah

yule also got change gui er is back to caifang and now yu zhen's 副主任..so complex hor...messy...
in any case I'm leavin soon alr..like end of this mth is my last mth...so no more chance to kpo..
but i'll be back (in a unconvincing tone)..in any case...

haven't posted for a long time, just happen 2b v boliao today so here i am!
back in beijing, freezing, studying, doing drama, volunteer work n website-designing, clubbing, looking for another indian guy :).
sometimes i think, i'll never make a good journalist. i naturally hate probing into ppl's affairs...and v easily intimidated by unwilling interviewees...any advice?
also, translated this book about picking up girls, have been thinking that journalism is similar in a way: u have to make any stranger open up to u within a matter of minutes. so i've been practising e techniques of approaching strangers too...haha.

Yoz! How's everyone doing?

I am supposed to be studying for my exams, but I have not gotten down to it coz i am still busying clearing assignments... Likely to be able complete all the assignments by today!

Anyway, I am trying to settle into my Triple Three (3-3-3) plan... Which is to work (doing assignments or study) for 3 hours in the morning, for another 3 hours in the afternoon, and another 3 hours at night :)

I know this is a far cry from the intensive studying hours of many NTU/NUS students, but I know myself lah... I simply cannot study for so long (haha... like a kid with short attention span)... try to get at least some work done...

My exams will start and end soon... (from 7 to 9 Nov)... Do call me and meet up after that!

The debate over journalistic ethics is something that can go on forever... as I am sure Xinyu (another journalism student like myself) will agree with.

Not wanting to turn this blog into a 3000-words thesis (i think i will reserve the brain cells for my upcoming exam paper CS 401 MEDIA LAWS AND ETHICS), i will just share my opinion (yeah, it is just an opinion, not a fact) in-a-nut-shell.

I believe most people in the world (except certain hard-core terrorists) are inherently trying to be good. Everyone is just attempting to live life the best way he or she knows how, including journalists.

I think a good way to gauge whether as a journalist, one is ethically sound or not, is to check whether one can sleep soundly at night or not, after a hard day's work in the reporting field.

Peace of heart is sought by all, but not always found.

yes, i thk thats prbly something at journalists have to face. was reading this article on wanbao the other day, about how this interviewee threatened a wanbao female journalist, swore at her, threatened a female photographer, nearly fight a TNP male journalist. its really scary.

another problem i have to reconcile (which i havent btw) abt journalism is abt e sensationalization of certain issues. i mean like tabloids like wb, sm n tnp seemed to b esp concerned abt perhaps murder cases and stuffs, i really dunno if its "right" to pry into private stuffs of others and in a way make e family of e deceased feel worse somehow thru e exposure of e matter.

altho i must most definitely agree that e media does play a large part in contributing twds e society positively, but there're also certain things that doesnt seem qt "righteous" right?

I spent nearly 2 hours listening and counselling a friend just now... because this friend tends to get into bad relationships with other people...

And a lot of troubles really got to do with the negative atmosphere this friend carried around...

And the truth is that any one of us can be prone to this...

Do we carry a negative aura wherever we go... are our mouths full of slander, argument and criticism?

Or our lips full of praise, honest and encouraging words? When we go into a room, are we perceived as the problem-solver or the source of problems?

I think for us ex-interns (who potentially will become journalists, thrown into crisis very often), we really need to think of how to react in the midst of strife and arguments...

... And more importantly, as a person, we ask ourselves daily:

What sort of atmosphere am i carrying today?

(PS: From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks... so then again, the stuff that really has to be renewed daily is the stuff that is inside.)

tt day me n wb reporter X n you weekly reporter X (note: i'm e only intern) went to interview weilian durin a PC...den after tt i was gg to take weilian's car to ano event which e wb reporter is not gg...so when e PC reached e interview part...e wb reporter asked me if i wtd to interview weilian first..den i said no lah..coz i haf time to interview later in e car so i let e wb reporter go first..she told me not to write e stuff she wrote coz she wtd to do an exclusive kinda thing...i promised i told her ok...den she went to e other side of e conference room n did e interview with weilian but they toked v loudly ok..its e 'i can hear u fr outside e room" kinda volume..anw i had nth to do...so i started doodlin in my notebook..juz for fun u know..i DID NOT copy down anythin she said.. (i mean i said i wouldnt)..den after she finished with weilian this reporter X went toilet, after tt she came back with a v black face n told me fiercely "can u not write wad i interview!" i had no idea wad happened so i juz "orh ok"..den i dunno y she looked so upset she went to complain v loudly to e you weekly reporter n e organizer...den i slowly got it...
wehn we were abt to leave e you weekly reporter n e organizer came over to tell me not to copy her stuff den i REALLY got it..of coz i explain to e you weekly reporter n e organizer lah..but WTH!!!!!!!wad's her f***kin problem?!!! i said i wont den i wont ok!!!!!!!! guess wat...ytd evening after our very 'happening' wanbao family idol contest...shimin, jinhua, wanyu n i went jurong entertainment centre to cut our hair!
our dear ms liu chan cut hers the nite b4..made us 'xin1 yang2 yang3'...so shimin, jinhua n i wanna cut...fish was supposed to keep her hair till ndp cos they need to tie hair up for performance, but aft looking at our new hairstyles, she was tempted to cut too!oops...jinhua reallie looked damn wild aft cutting lor...n i cut my fringe ever since 11yrs old! my gosh...cant believed my fringe was cut...still trying to get used to my new look..haha..tink i crap too much abt hair le...anyway...

HEY, suggestions for new names for ZB and WB!
Anyone ever wonder why 新明is called "shin min" and not "xin ming"? Haha... I kept writing "shin ming" until joyce told me that there is no 'g' behind the 'ming'!
Then I realise that "shin min" is actually the dialect name, not the hanyu pingyin name.
Then, as we were chatting, I came up with this brilliant idea of rebranding WB and ZB.
Instead of calling them wanbao and zaobao which is so formal, we shall standardise all the names of the three local chinese papers!
They shall be called "Lien Hub Am Bo", "Lien Hub Za Bo"!
Well, can suggest to the branding and promotions dept huh?

(Popeye's, Changi) 7 interns "strengthened" their bond on Monday 04 July 2005, over dinner at Popeyes, Changi.

On Monday night, the SPH intern union had their second round of the "once-in-a-while-extra-working-outing", also affectionately known as the "suga-suga intern outing Part II". A total of 7 interns turned up at Changi airport for the outing, which also happened to be the farewell dinner-cum-outing for SPH scholar, Ms Wang SY.
Representatives from the evening Chinese papers gathered to send Ms Wang off at the airport.
There were representatives from the 2 local evening Chinese papers. Surprisingly, no representatives from the morning paper, which Ms Wang used to intern for, were seen at the outing. This certainly raised eyebrows among the interns and questions on the relationship among the interns at the local papers were also raised. Were they as close as they seemed? According to a self-confessed nosy eyewitness who refused to reveal her name, "The interns at the morning paper are all busy working, but we are not really sure if that's the real reason."
However, it did seemed that the interns at the morning paper were working extra hard. According to eyewitnesses, an intern from the morning paper finally made her way to the airport at around 10pm, and another showed up around 11pm to bid their farewell, thrashing rumors of hostility among the interns.
During the farewell dinner itself, the atmosphere got really high after food was served. It was reportedly seen that the interns were so hungry they "gobbled" up 10 packets of french fries at Popeye's.

The fries were seen to be snapped up really quickly, the biscuit, however tasted awful, and several were left half-eaten on the plates.
Ms Wang SY, who was highly amused by the cartoon of Popeye's, decided to play Popeye himself. Afterall, imitation is the best form of flattery.

In addition, during the farewell dinner, beer was also drunk and a short presentation was also held where Ms Wang was presented with a book of quotes on friendship by the "Chairperson" of the present intern union.

Beer was drunk and Intern Union's supervisor was seen with a dazed look after half a can of Heineken's.

Chairperson of InternUnion, Majyo jests, "We wanted to buy this card, but our supervisor refused to travel to Terminal 2, so we bought this book of friendship quotes instead. We had a very interesting poem written in it too." Ms Wang was also reportedly seen to be delighted by the gift.
Dinner at Popeye's was extremely enjoyable.
Majyo also told The SPHinterns.blogspot.com, "It was a really heartwarming evening, and we expect to do this soon again as Ms Yang DX will be making her way back home at the end of the month too. We definitely expect more more faces in our next outing."

scholar sheds light on baggage excess

SCHOLAR SHEDS LIGHT ON BAGGAGE EXCESS!

(Changi) Wang Shuyang (20), a scholar from SPH was seen rumaging through bags of luggage at the local international airport on Monday, 04 July 2005, at around 10pm.

According to eyewitnesses, Ms Wang was on her way back home in China, and she was facing problems of baggage excess. It was reportedly seen that her baggage weighed a hefty 33.5kg, 13.5kg in excess of the 20kg limit!
Ms Wang and her group of friends were seen stuffing smaller bags with items like CDs, boxes and a bottle of moisturizer, right in the middle of the departure hall at Changi Airport.When Ms Wang tried to lighten her baggage by transferring her belongings to separate bags, a study lamp was found in her large suitcase!
An eyewitness who only wishes to be known as Mr L.K. Gan commented,"It was like local funnyman Jack Neo's variety program, and his character Liang Po Po would take out this giant lamp for comedic effect", referring to the famous old lady character-Liang Po Po played by local celebrity Jack Neo.
It was also reportedly seen that Ms Wang ended up with 6 different bags, an up from the original 3 bags!

Ms Wang ends up with 6 different bags after separating her luggage. She even used 2 giant Bengawan Solo plastic bags for her clothes.
Mr L.K. Gan who tried really hard to push Ms Wang's luggage.
Ms Wang confesses, "I had no idea it was going to be that heavy."
Another eyewitness Ms Yang DX reveals, "I think she(Ms Wang) gave up on the lamp in the end, she gave it to her friend, I think."
Ms Yang also told the SPHINTERNS.blogspot.com, "The person at the counter gave her an increase in the baggage weight limit in the end, up to 32kg, but she didn't have time to put her luggage back in after that."

Peeps, after lunch todae, we realised that many of us cant make it on Thur and Fri...wkends too...so end up we may decide to change the outing day to next Mon..location not yet decided..
We supposed more ppl will b free on Mon, and according to Danxu, Shuyang may be extending her visa for a little longer, so Mon sld b ok...
So how? paiseh ah Joyce..today u were sick, so we juz ask around the table and end up deciding the outing shall be postponed to Mon...hopefully most of us can make it on that day... =P

Anyway, I went in to type the sph intern thingy in yahoo and found more things this time. Haha.. really quite a lot of interesting stuff. Suddenly, I saw photos of many interns that were previously in Shinming and wanbao.
Like the bunch from HC and TJ in dec last year, got junjia, yuan yi. Also got others like yingmin, baoli, shengying and me! haha... then later I realise it was a joyce's online photo album. Also got the last BBQ outing photos there which i was not present.
Haha... quite fun leh. See all the old photos, and remind me of some of the events, like the dinner gathering at Suntec.
Besides that, can also find a lot of comments written by people who have done internship in SPH before, got some scholars comments about SPH, and about how they were ill-treated.
Haha... Din know yahoo search can be so interesting.

Jay Chou came up with his "10 great tips on how to pao4 niu1 (flirt)" recently... then he went on to say that he never take the iniative to woo girls... now come on, aint that contradictory... of course, if this goes on debate, the aspect that would tip the scale of balance is our various (may be vastly different) definitions of "woo"...

Anyway, i guess there isnt a need of a conclusion for this paradox, basically, we just need to know that Jay acts/was/is/will be cool, and girls just love it.

Interestingly, one of the tips that Jay mentioned concerns playing the piano. (Please refer to Lianhe wanbao 25th June, Sat... i dint chk if it is in Sinming... but it probably is, too.)

Ironically, this is used by my friend to "suan" me... haha... I remembered back in army "daze", when my superior realised that i play the piano AND i dint have girlfriend, he said,"How come you so lousy... play piano also can play until no girlfriend... then learn piano for what?"

Hmm... it was a confirmation that there is an added incentive to learning a musical instrument (but personally, i still think guitar is more effective... now, tell me, how are you going to bring a piano to the beach!?)...

Anyway, jokes aside, i think that whatever VISIBLE talent that someone has (eg. in the school Track and Field team, or plays the Sitar or Triangle or whatever in the School Band) may help to IMPRESS, but tt's about it.

After all the initial gimmicks, it is only when you start to know the person better, then we can start to talk about moving into the zone of genuine, lasting attraction.

So, perhaps we can also understand Jay's "10 great tips on how to pao4 niu1" as "10 great tips on how to impress"...

i think i'm a bit slow... only today, or rather yesterday, heard that the blog's outline has been changed... and someone said the bird looked like our "shi xi zhu ren"... dun think so leh... but frankly, i like new colour better than the last time striking blue... coz that blue and white makes it very hard to see...

and also abt the transport, i really think that it is a bit strange that it is so different, i mean the policy, in different newspapers... haha, maybe lingkai is correct, we should have just done whatever we thought it was correct... i was very careful about taking cab and all those... but after a while, i realise that our surpervisors won't be bothered by the transport claims of the interns... it is better that we just 先斩后奏, just dun be 太过分, can alr...

anyway... i decided to extend my intern to the end of july liao... so will have to occupy a seat at the intern lunch table for another one and half month... hehe...

hmmz, actuallie i didnt try to clarify on e cab fees thgy. they came up to me to tell me abt it. ya, i do agree tt therez no pt on tryg to clarify thgs if u feel tt its justified. i mean as long as u dun take cabs to tour sg durg wkg hr or take cab for personal usage but claim it anyway, or get fake receipts watsoever, i thk it's pretty justified.

i juz dun understand y they can spend so much money on payg us salary for qt a number of us to sit in e office n surf net evryday, but scrimp on petty thgs like, deductg a couple of cts frm e cab fees to save their lives? doesnt make sense at all. n e damn fact of it is tt i use student concession so therez technically no cost incurred travellg to wk juz irks me.

but well, who can we voice this up to? u noe, all e grievances n all... tts y we shud reallie haf a body (like intern union) w certain negotiatg power (hmmz, but it seemed like we dun reallie possess much power, do we?)

How come taking cab, and claiming for the fee cause so much trouble? Hmm... perhaps on this account, Wanbao provides a more friendly environment....

Anyway, i realise that sometimes issues or control imposed by superiors only arise when you actually seek to clarify things.... for eg. asking questions such as " Can I take cab to XXX for interview on ABC?"

My philosophy is that if it is justified in your heart, mind, conscience (if you can still find it... haha) that you are to take Cab to the location of interview due to necessity (this again, is a highly subjective term), then...

Just take cab, DO NOT ASK!

Frankly speaking, these are petty things that no superior in his right mind will wreck his mind trying to mind our business.

i was w e intern union for lunch yesterday. gosh, we filled up e whole table n in fact it wasnt big 'nuf to accomodate evry1. heyz ms joyce, shall we request for a larger table as intern union to e managemt?

ohh.. another thing to rant. it's abt e transport claims (petty cash). i realised tt ifwe take cab frm home to assignmt location, we've to deduct e usual cost of our travel frm hse to sph. in other words, lets say u usuallie spend 83 cts to take mrt from ur hse to braddell, n if u take cab frm ur hse to this place in bishan for assignmt n e cab fare is 4.90, u can only claim 4.07 (4.90 minus 0.83). this is freakg ridiculous. i use student concession to travel, so my travel frm hm to wkplace is considered $0! so hw does it count? anw, i decided to juz use e usual adult fare n round it off to abt 80cts for my case. so evrytime i take cab to wkplace i can onli claim amt minus 80cts. wat e hell...

i drove to an assignmt at paya lebar yesterday, so hw r they gonna acct for my petrol? there're oso times i took bus/train down, so hw to acct? lets say e train ride is 64cts n usuallie i needa spend 83cts frm my place to wk, does it mean ive to 倒贴them 16cts if i wana claim e 64 cts frm them? this is so silly.

anw i'm so 不爽by e nyao-ness of sph. ive decided tt if i needa take cab for wk n its in e morning, i'll take mrt down to braddell (since i'm on concession), den take a cab down, even if e location is actuallie nxt to my flat. pissed off.....................

A-zui saw Amy, Evelyn & Xinyu discussing furiously about something. He decided to check it out himself and be in the "in" gang. The three interns told him about the steampot gathering. A-zui then said, "Why didn't you ask me to go along?" The three victims stared, wide-eyed. A-zui also asked about the price of the meal, which Evelyn replied $12. A-zui then added, "Then you all pay $13 each then." Evelyn smiled weakly, while Amy blanked out for a few seconds. WOLS.

the steamboat stall at marina bay was definitely hotter than usual last night, when 14 sph interns turned up.

last night, e sph intern union held their once-in-a-while extra-wkg outing, themed "suga-suga intern outing". it was after much discussion that they finally settled upon marina bay steamboat. other suggestions include: nydc and breeks.

the turn-up was a good 14 ppl, with representatives from each chinese papers.

the atmosphere started to get "high" after a few rounds of beer and when amy and-joyce and jianhui-and-libing started turning the dinner into a typical scene from e bar-- playing guessing games. interestingly, these four players are from SM and this reporter suspects that they had learnt these games well as their boss (aka mr water) frequent such night spots. inspired by yu le bai fen bai, juliet suggested a game of truth-or-dare, which joyce faced on 3 consecutive accounts. nt much xin wen dian, except for e scandalous exchange btween joyce n libing.

thereafter, zhong ji mi ma was played and thx to e spontaneity of e interns, a few interesting forfeits were carried out. they include: amy takg e donald duck ride, danxu sa jiao to lingkai, wanyu se you libing (sorrie, this reporter missed this whole part bcoz this reporter realised she lost her earrings at this time).

e outing concluded at abt 10+pm after a tedious but heartwarming earring search (altho to no avail) and e interns squeezed into a van n headed back to e mrt stn.

vp of intern union juliet told The SPHinterns.Blog, "it was indeed a fun-filled outing which gave everybody a chance to mingle and bond. i definitely look fwd to e nxt suga-suga outing!".

hahaha...we have more new interns on e block manz..so good...was juz discussin with jul tt dae tt we shld re-start e intern union and collect funds like 10bucks to join for 3 mths..den we can do lotsa stuff as a union..

1. Organize outings...
2. Go on legal strikes...
3. Petition for higher wages...
4. Petition for better benefits..

If all else fails..WHICH probably will...the money can be used for mass lunch sessions...bwhaha since we now have so many more interns...

Hi people, updates here... SPH just called me to tell me that I have been awarded the overseas scholarship. BUT there are conditions. I can only go to either China or Japan to study, and they would very much want me to study in japan... still considering whether should accept.. Yup, it is definitely wondeful to be awarded the scholarship. But Japan is so unfamiliar to me... I would have to start form the very basics by learning the lang. So still consdering if i shld accept...
Anyway, i just went back a few days ago. Had lunch with joyce and lingkai and a few other new interns... miss the working days! TW

下来我要发牢骚了！！
Dun understand why the people here like to do last min work, or rather pass me the last min work.
First for the exhibition thingy, have to do an article on it. Have to interview four companies and ask them to provide info on their products, plan for the exhibition and photos.
Well, but I always receive the assignment only after lunch and it is to be published the next afternoon.
What is wrong, man? It is still so far away from the exhibiton and many companies havent plan for it. Want me to call them and tell them to provide me and info and the photos instantly?!

Another assignment was supposedly to be a weekly column. Then pass to me two days before the deadline and ask me to find the topic to do arrange interview and hand in and keep rushing me to hand in.
Well, since it is a weekly column, cant give me earlier?
First, I had totally no idea what to do. Second, arranging interview will take some time. AND btw, that is not my work. That is becos you are on leave and you ask me to help! I have other assignments to do in my own group. I am just helping you out, so pls be kind in your attitude!

Haha... finally got to enter and write something. Must say that the comp in the resource center is slow.
Anyway, unknowingly, I got transferred back to caifang again. But dun feel the sense of anticipation cos I am leaving soon anyway.
Well, I guess it is not up to me to write some "better" stuff. Of cos I really want to get good assignments. But what i can do is to keep asking for more work. Anyway, I did really a lot of translation work for the past few weeks. Maybe can train my england as well. Have been checking the dictionaries.
Maybe getting back to caifang may improve the situation. But I am leaving soon. Haha.. start to have the "going to leave, so never mind" mentality already.
Anyway, must say that it is getting more and more lengqing these days. Cos very few interns left le. So today I end up having lunch with ZB and a lot of ST people haha...
Haiz... people, we din get to go to ufm... haha... a bit disappointed lah... thot we could gather again. But see how lah huh... very sian now. Cos very few interns left le..

Well, I guess it is not just rivalery, however it is spelled, that makes people distant. And I do agree with you, juliet, that it is not just in sph that the situation is like this, i think this occur everywhere.
I guess it is just when people mature and when they start venturing out on their career, they are so engrossed in performing well, that they are no longer really interested in making friends. Others might just prefer to be alone. I guess we will just become like them when we grow 'mature'.
Now, starting to feel tired le. Well, maybe i just lack the stamina, but trying to get people to get you work to do sometimes can just be so tiring. Or maybe the process of thinking how to put it in the right way.
Now I am stuck between Fukan and Caifang, I always hope to ask for jobs to do from caifang, cos that is where i want to learn. I dun hav much time left le, and the next possible time for me to be back is 2 years later. I dun wan to waste my three months here. But now, starting to feel you xin wu li. Just sui yuan ba...
haha... ok, shall stop here before i am seen. And, dun let this be a chatroom for me and juliet, can? haha... write leh... (anyway, is this big and bright enough?)

actuallie, i thk at least wkg as temps allowed me to noe sm REAL frens. no office politics n rivalry. i doubt tt we can reallie make frens when ure reallie on e job.

back to hw to noe more ppl in sph. well, for me, i onli got to know ppl thru wkg w dem, esp when i'm in yiwai zu. i thk itz a lil tough when it comes to fukan la... other than tt, i thk i generally look harmless, adorable n approachable.. so moz "aunties" n "uncles" love me to e core... haha.. so nw u noe hw come i seem to noe evry1 in wb.

Hey people, I see a lot of people leaving notes there, but only three people creating posts. Well, if you all do not know the password yet, sms any of the three people who posted posts.
Well, I went on the horse riding trip today... Hmm... 预知详情，请翻阅明天的<联合晚报>。haha... not sure if it would be published. Anyway, not something great lah. Just quite an experience.
Though I am the youngest here... opps, not in front of yuanyi, I am always v blur when I log on to this blog. A lot of small small things here and there... haha... think i am really backward. And, would you all want to write names? Hmm... cos besides yuanyi, i dun seem to know the rest.

从进入晚报的第一天开始就非常不适应工作的气氛。很多人说在华文里的环境工作非常有人情味。感觉上这里的气氛不是我想象的。可能只是我没有做好心里准备，还总是以为自己还在校园里。
从进入晚报的第一天开始，大家好像就很专著遇于自己的工作，对于周遭的环境缺乏了那份我当成一种理所当然的关心。
我在座位坐下了许久，但是，没有人理我，大家照常在电脑面前打字、通电话。好像周遭的环境没有一点变化。我看见大家那么忙，也没有勇气和旁边的人打招呼。就这样，在报馆的第一天只和副主任和秘书说了两三句话。第二天，终于有其他的实习生来找我，问我要不要同它们一起吃饭。我和他们一大帮人到餐厅吃午饭，终于感觉比较正常了，大家有说有笑，感觉到有人的存在。但是会到办公室之后，陌生的感觉又再次涌上。
至今，我和很多同事还是非常陌生。或许看到常常碰面的那些同事时，还会打打招呼，但是其他人就好像是陌生人一样。
就算我很想和同事说声一声非常普通的‘早’，也会觉得怪怪的。
我很缺乏主动性，也常常怪自己脸皮不够厚。但是，我已经习惯了其他人的主动。来到这里，我忘了这里已经不再是熟悉的校园。我想到现在为止我还是不能适应的是，我和身边同事的距离还是非常遥远。
虽然和一些同事偶尔会聊聊天，但是感觉还是不同。我想这就是为什么我和其他实习生常常‘黏’在一起。我觉得这就是实习生所拥有的最独特的地方。至少，大家还是还是保持这种珍贵的炽热吧？

Well, for those who I have not yet informed, I would be going on a horse riding trip this week... haha... bragging here... looking forward to it. Have only seen a horse in a zoo and in the turf club before but never thot of riding on it. Hmm... update my experience here when i complete the ride.

这是一个历史性的一刻。从今天起，你的选择不再是单一的。。。因为，除了在报纸上发表文章之外，我们有了另外一个发表伟论的空间。属于我们这一些实习生的抒情空间已经打开了！
Anyway, I was thinking that since we are working on editorial stuff (supposedly good at words) and we have an interesting life as intern journalists, then we should have some space to put down our thoughts and share our experiences.
Well, if you all want to write in chinese also can... hehe.. me v lazy to type in chinese lah..
For me, I think it is a really wonderful chance to get in and work here. A lot of people have the same dreams, but they might not be given the opportunity to realise it. Though we are only interns, but i guess we have had a lot of chances to experience.
I dun have much time here le... Slightly more than a month. I dunno if i can come back again, so i would really want to treasure what I have left. Maybe if i dun have another chance to come back, this would be a very memorable experience.
I feel that it would be a waste if we dun keep in contact with interns who left. Interns only stay for a short while, but i guess as interns, we tend to be closer.
Well, people, remember this blog and try to keep it alive, k? If too lazy, writing a few words would be good too.
* And, help me think of a new name for this blog. Well, dun think it is good to put a name in which everyone knows who we are.. then we wont be able to scold or curse at anyone/anything we want.
